Get To Know Me

My name is Emily and I am 27 years old. I am a lover of animals, travel, sports and exploring the outdoors and nature. I have wanted to work with animals my whole life, ranging from training guide dogs to becoming a jockey to working in animal conservation. I never knew which path to take as I wanted to help every animal in every possible way. Eventually I decided I would love to do dog grooming, dogs are definitely my favourite animal, closely followed by dolphins and horses. The reason I decided to work with dogs is because ultimately they are my favourite animal and they bring me so much joy, they deserve all the love in the world and I intend on giving that to all the furry friends that visit my salon.

My Love For Animals

I am a huge animal lover and have been all my life! I started horse riding lessons when I was just 3 years old and my love for animals grew and grew from there.

In high school I did work experience at a horse riding stables (twice) and also volunteered at a local animal rescue centre on weekends. During my time at the rescue centre I absolutely loved looking after and walking the dogs, seeing them be re-homed filled me with so much happiness.

The Hadley Zoo

Whilst growing up my family home was known as the Hadley Zoo! We have always had a number of different animals around the house, currently we have a snake and two Parson's Russell Terriers. Previously I have had two Scottie dogs, a number of ferrets, hamsters, fish, mice, budgies, cats, guinea pigs and rabbits. I LOVE being around animals and caring for them is such a joy of mine.
